A native of Ireland, Jack Keogh, M.A., A.B.D, may be considered a true “internationalist”. He has enjoyed a diversified career in consulting and management within corporate and non-profit institutions both in the United States and abroad. He developed hands-on consulting skills serving as a Regional Vice President at one of the premier Human Resources consulting firms, headquartered in New York City. Subsequently, he created and directed the international mobility management programs for a major US corporation. He also contributed on a senior management level as chief operations officer for a New York City based professional organization As Executive Director of a respected Non Governmental Organization in New York, he worked with international corporations and the European Union to create and direct a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the conflict in Ireland through economic development. In Mexico City, where he resided for over ten years, he served at the prestigious Anahuac University, a leading university in Latin America. He has consulted with major multinational corporations and his assignments have led him to many countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Most recently, (from 1997 to early 2006) Jack served as Vice President, Human Capital Strategies at Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services, a division of Prudential Financial, where he was privileged to help develop the international capabilities of the company Jack has studied in Spain and Italy, holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from universities in those countries and is fluent in their languages. He is certified in the use of several assessment instruments including the Myers, Salovey, Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test a powerful ability-based assessment that identifies the four core abilities of emotional intelligence; the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Overseas Assignment Inventory, all of which contribute to his understanding of the cultural dynamics of human capital issues. He makes many presentations internationally, delivers training, and consults on global human capital development issues. Jack is well known in mobility management and Human Resources circles in the USA, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. where he is a highly regarded and sought after consultant and speaker. A native of Dublin, Ireland, he resides with his wife and children in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Partner Pilar Villalón is a Partner in Keogh & Associates Consulting, LLC. She serves as the lead consultant for Latin America. Pilar specializes in executive and personal coaching, personality assessment, personnel selection, teambuilding, and cross-cultural training.Based in Mexico City, Pilar focuses especially on the Latin America market. A clinical psychologist by training, she coaches our clients to experience fresh perspectives on personal challenges and opportunities, enhanced thinking and decision making skills, enhanced interpersonal effectiveness, and increased confidence in carrying out their chosen work and life roles. Pilar has special expertise in coaching our clients through successful cultural transitions of all types, including changes in assignment, location or geographic reach, integration into new corporate or departmental cultures, and how to successfully shift the culture of a function or a department. Executives turn to her at the critical junctures in their career to strengthen skills or to vastly expand their leadership abilities (e.g. global emotional intelligence, matrix collaboration) in the face of sweeping challenges. Pilar is also a certified in the "Tomatis Method", developed in the 1960's by the French physician, Dr. Alfred A. Tomatis. Apart from the astounding clinical benefits that can be achieved for those with auditory processing challenges, Pilar uses the method, when appropriate, to help improve workplace performance, communication skills, stress management and the development of emotional intelligence. The auditory stimulation achieved using Tomatis enables clients preparing for foreign assignments to learn and retain 50% more of a foreign language in 50% less time. Bette Davis grew up in a U.S. Army family and so lived throughout the world as a “third-culture kid.” She earned a B.A. in education from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in adult education from Indiana University. Associate (Home Finding in Mexico) Patricia Revilla is our associate responsible for home-finding and real estate in Mexico. Based in Mexico City, she began her career in real estate in 1994, working with the “Terrum Group”. With Terrum she participated in the sales of the new homes and apartment complexes in Santa Fe, Mexico City. Later, she worked for five years on the developments at the Bosques Golf Club en the capital. She also gained sales experience with developments in resort area of Ixtapa in Guerrero. In Mexico City, she has been involved with projects in Interlomas, Lomas de las Palmas and the “Residential Lomas” Golf Club. Patricia eventually set out on her own to work with several well-known Mexican architects selling projects in Lomas de Chapultepec, Santa Fe, Virreyes, Polanco, Bosques de las Lomas, Vista Hermosa and others. Mrs. Revilla worked as an elementary school teacher at the prestigious “Irish Institute” in Mexico City. She enjoys her children, her active social life and an on-going passion to keep up with the latest trends in interpersonal development. In sum, Patricia possesses thorough knowledge of the housing needs of expatriates in Mexico and has extensive experience in helping them choose the most suitable accommodations. She is a skilled negotiator well accustomed to going through contracts with a fine tooth-comb in order to obtain the best terms for our corporate clients.
